Thanks to our customers and the NW Watershed the Food Coop has a long history of involvement with the Plant-A-Thon and this year’s Satsuma fundraiser raised $1,800 to purchase plants and other supplies.

At its heart, the Food Bank Growers is simply about volunteers sharing abundance. But that does not happen in a vacuum. Originally incorporated in 2013 as Foodbank Farm and Gardens, today it’s grown to include growers, gatherers, preservers, cooks, and food bank workers.

This fall, our Farmer Funds benefit Dharma Ridge Farm, a family farm located in Quilcene.

The Food Co-op Farmer Fund collects donations from shoppers and then divides those funds equally between three local farms each quarter (the farms rotate each quarter).

Change for Change benefits our local farmers who grow extra food for those who need it most…

Currently all of Sunfield's farm produce is donated to local and regional food banks and food access programs…

The community programming available at Shy Acre Farm would not be possible without the generous donations of our local businesses and nonprofit organizations.

One direct action we can take—that supports both our farmers and our neighbors—is to donate directly to local farms so they provide food to families with limited access to fresh food.

A contribution to the Cooperative Development Foundation's Disaster Recovery Fund assists cooperatives, families and communities when they are most in need of help.
