The Food Co-op is looking for a reliable, flexible Wellness Clerk to join our bunch!

The Wellness Clerk provides excellent, friendly, knowledgeable customer service to shoppers. The Wellness Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate ordering, inventorying, and stocking of wellness products.
Minimum Requirements: HS diploma or equivalent, valid Food Worker Card issued in WA or the ability to acquire one within two weeks of hire, 6 months relevant experience in retail, preferably customer service focused position. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers and other staff members in a positive manner both in person and over the phone. Attention to detail and accuracy with words/text and numbers/prices. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with limited direct supervision. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to use basic math to accurately calculate prices. Ability to read and comprehend complex product information.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with selling and/or ordering natural products and supplements, strongly preferred; Experience operating office equipment such as a phone, computer, copier, calculator and cash register preferred.
$19.50-28.47/hour DOE/DOQ

The Food Services Team Member provides excellent customer service and works with the Food Services team to prepare food, wash and sanitize dishes and food preparation areas, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen and deli. Keeps the hot bar/salad bar, deli cases and grab-and-go cases well merchandised, clean and welcoming.
Minimum Requirements: Valid Food Worker Card issued in WA or the ability to acquire one within two weeks of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of successful, relevant experience in a kitchen, restaurant, deli, grocery, retail environment, commercial food preparation, or related field. Customer service experience and experience operating commercial kitchen equipment. Previous natural foods experience is helpful.
$19.50-28.47/hour DOE/DOQ
