Wic serves pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and children up to five years old who are at or below 185% of the federal poverty level. It is healthy food for you and your child…and a lot more.

SNAP provides food benefits to low-income families to supplement their grocery budget so they can afford the nutritious food essential to health and well-being.

VegRX
The Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program
In partnership with Jefferson Healthcare and the Food Co-op in Port Townsend, children/youth 18 and younger who receive Apple Health and are patients at Jefferson Healthcare qualify for a VegRx card while supplies last.

There are many places you can get food for FREE!
The Jefferson County Free Food List is updated regularly and lists every free food resource by area with street address, date, times and other access information. This includes Little Free Pantries, the food banks and community meals.
Seeing a gap in local food access, a group of students took matters into their own hands—one pantry at a time!
