UNFI Disruption
Dear Co-op shoppers,
We want to let you know about a temporary disruption affecting our product availability. UNFI — our primary distributor — recently experienced a cybersecurity incident that has impacted their ability to make deliveries, including to our stores. As a result, you may notice that some of our shelves are looking a bit light.
We’re actively working with our local and secondary suppliers to source the products our customers need while UNFI gets back up and running. And our national network of co-ops (NCG) worked with UNFI to prioritize deliveries to us so we can re-stock the shelves as soon as possible.
The good news is that we’ve experienced product shortages before, and we’ll get through this one as well. And even better we expect to receive product on Wednesday morning – and while it may not be everything we want or need we anticipate it will fill the bigger gaps. Thanks for your patience, your kindness to our staff and your continued support of the Co-op. We’re proud to be your community grocer and we’ll keep doing everything we can to keep our shelves as stocked and welcoming as we can.
