Harmony in a Cup: Wild Sage Teas and the Inner-Outer Peace Connection

WILD SAGE was originally created in spring 1999 to offer healing herbs and specialty teas to the local Port Townsend community. Inspired by the understanding that “inner peace brings outer peace”, we began by crafting our herbal teas by responding to the needs of the community. Following customer requests for more of our tasty and healthy organic teas to treat specific conditions our complete line of Organic Tonic Herbals has been handcrafted and evolved over 13 years. All of our unique blends our based on the real needs of the human community, as well as the desire to share good vibrations through the wonderful healing medium of tea.

As a maritime geoscientist with a masters in geochemistry, the earth and her dynamic systems have always been my passion. The organizing principles and intelligence of nature are inherent in all things. My study of plants evolved naturally from earth studies. I embrace the age-old concept of an “ounce of protection is worth a pound of cure”. Over time, my career emphasis shifted from working to clean up the environment to shifting the mindset which allows us to pollute it in the first place. I believe that self-care is health-care, and with self-healing we can bring earth healing. When we truly begin to honor and protect our bodies, ourselves, and take greater responsibility for our own health, we begin to truly honor and protect and take greater responsibility for our earth, embracing all its living dynamics, diversity and abundance, too.

Wild Sage Teas are handcrafted in Port Townsend to order with 100% certified organic herbs from local NW Oregon or Washington farmers, as much as possible. Sourcing only the freshest and finest herbs, there is only one person between the farmers and your cup of tea ~ me!

Peace to good tea, and the good earth!
