Help kids plant trees!

Plant-A-Thon, started by the Northwest Watershed Institute in 2005, is a community-based tradition in which local students plant trees! NWI works alongside the students on planting days to teach attendees how to plant native trees and shrubs. About 200 people from five separate schools gather together for the activity! The NWI believes that the Plant-A-Thon gives kids the opportunity to have a hands-on approach to solving environmental issues.

This year the Co-op is partnering with NWI to raise funds for the 2023 Plant-A-Thon! 1$ from every sale of 5lb. Satsuma bags will go directly towards the Plant-A-Thon initiative. For more information or to donate directly, please visit www.nwwatershed.org
