An engaged and educated membership is essential to the success of our cooperative.
We want to help our members be knowledgeable about products they consume, connections between food choices and personal health, as well as how to engage in environmentally sustainable practices.
To reach this goal, we develop education and advocacy on topics such as reducing carbon footprint, understanding the cooperative model, and helping our diverse population learn how to access and cook healthy, local food.
In 2019 we will be offering double the cooking classes as they fill up VERY quickly as well as more classes on Zero Waste Living and Sustainability.
This year we also started implementing a tiered pricing model to establish more benefits for being a member. Helpful HINT, If you are not a member yet but love our classes, you will save a lot of money by becoming a member first. To learn more about membership, CLICK HERE.
