RUTH B. MEMBER SERVICES  When asked why she started working at The Food Co-op, Ruth replied, Good food. At first I volunteered and was fortunate to "land" a paying job. What does she like about working here? She says: The best thing about working at the Co-op is the opportunity to help the members and customers. It has been a wonderful learning experience--thanks to the Co-op!

When asked why he started working at The Food Co-op, Walter replied, I needed money, was tired of food service, and I saw a cashier who looked like a member of Dr. Seuss's heavy metal band. Why does he continue to work for the Co-op? He says: Glutton for punishment.
